A set of 4 BONNET, HOOD BUFFER RUBBERSthat would be suitable for the following vehicles :

TRIUMPH TR6 ; YEARS 1968-1976.

These buffers are NEW and for reference have the Part No. 626152. They can also be used as an alternative to Part No. 611842 which was used on some early TR models.

They locate on the sides of the inner wheel arch/wing panel ( 2 per side) and are designed to absorb any impact that may be generated when the bonnet is dropped closed as well as providing an anti-vibration barrier between the surrounding metal panels. Given their location on the car, they can be prone to deterioration and splitting from oil contamination or age, thus negating their intended dampening effect.

If the bonnet buffers on your TR look like they are past their best, then these would be the ideal replacement parts.
