SPARE WHEEL COVER RUBBER SEAL that would be suitable for the following vehicles :

TRIUMPH TR2, TR3 & TR3A ; YEARS 1953-1961.

This seal is supplied NEW and for reference has the Part No. 552559.

The seal is manufactured in the UK from a foam rubber/rubber neoprene material and it fits into the metal recess around the edge of the spare wheel cover.

It is designed to prevent water ingress into the spare wheel floor area and also to lessen the effects of vibration of the spare wheel cover when the car is being driven. These seals can perish over time so if yours has not been changed in a long time or is ripped then this would make the ideal replacement part. The seal is supplied slightly oversized in length so it can be tailored to the individual car.
