Pair of ENGINE MOUNTS & FITTING KIT that would be suitable for the following vehicles :
TRIUMPH GT6 MkI, II & III ; YEARS 1966-1973.
These engine mounts & bolts etc are all supplied NEW and, for reference have the Part No. UKC8330 or 155003.
Each kit includes 2 x engine mounts and sufficient UNF zinc plated nuts, bolts and washers to attach the engine to the mounts and the mounts themselves to the car.
Given their location on the car, the engine mounts tend to suffer from oil contamination or the rubber perishes through age, resulting in excess engine 'play' when under applied load either through hard acceleration or braking leading to a possible MOT failure (in the UK).
If the engine mounts on your Triumph are past their best, then this kit would make an ideal replacement. Alternatively, if you have had reason to remove the engine on your car, then why not replace the engine mounts whilst you are at it before refitting.
